“’Delhi Belly’ has opened with a bang. It has seen a better response in cities including Delhi, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Indore, Ahmedebad, and Bangalore. Comperatively, ‘Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap’ has had a lukewarm response,” said Rahul Singh, VP, PVR Cinemas.
‘Delhi Belly’ with an adult-crime-comedy genre is successfully aimed at the youth, even before the movie released with its catchy songs. It has a fresh, slick, madly crazy production that makes it likeable, especially for the 20-something and perhaps 30-something big city audiences.
On the other hand, ‘Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap’ starring mostly the veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Prakash Raj, and Raveena Tandon is about the exploits of a quick-tempered, flamboyantly dressed retired gangster.
